Massage therapists visited Grandview Palms last week to donate sessions to residents and staff. Our dementia section made African dolls this week during an activity for Black History Month. Lucille celebrates her February birthday with a fun group this afternoon.
Enid enjoys the visiting dog "Tootsie" today. She made herself very comfortable. Jetive stands proudly next to the word scramble activity she helped with. Residents enjoy a lunch outing to Hometown Buffet.
Our weekend activity leader, Aurora, doing a word challenge with our dementia residents. Sundays are a busy day for visitors. Anna gets a special one from her granddaughter. Families are always welcome at Grandview Palms! Edna's great-granddaughter sold Girl Scout cookies today.
On Tuesdays, our dementia section does a spa activity, where they do things that stimulate the senses, like aromatherapy with lotion, beauty treatments and massage. Pictured is Marjorie enjoying the cool sensation of cucumbers. Brooke shows some love to residents on the Monday outing to The Grove. Tomiko poses next to the 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle she helped put together. It was a real team effort!
