Grandview Palms Senior Living Community
Grandview Palms, which opened in December 2006, is a premier retirement residence in Southern California. Conveniently located in Culver City, Grandview Palms will offer amenities and programs for seniors looking for that "special" residence. Located near shopping, transportation and health services, the community will feature tastefully decorated common areas complemented by large, spacious suites for our residents.
Included in one reasonable fee, residents will enjoy three delicious meals each day, snacks and beverages available any time day or night, and a schedule of interesting activities for those who wish to participate.
Our community is unique in that we do not require a substantial move-in fee commonly required by other assisted living residences.
From the moment you enter our community, one will be impressed by the thought and effort that went into the design and development of Grandview Palms. Over two years of research has gone into our community in an attempt to make it the best possible assisted living facility in Southern California.
Immediately upon entering, our guests will be invited in by the beauty of the Grand lobby with its massive fireplace. After that, it is up to each resident to decide which amenity to use first - whether it be the grand piano, the game room, the card room, the salon, the computer stations for e-mailing loved ones, or the exercise room with its numerous pieces of workout equipment. There will be something for virtually each of our residents. But the choice of activities is always left to our residents.
For special occasions, a private dining room can be reserved. We encourage family involvement and participation. Special "family" events are scheduled several times a year.
Our residents and their loved ones will be comforted in the understanding of our commitment to our providing the best services possible. The care and attention to the needs and requirements of our residents are the first and foremost priority of the management and staff of Grandview Palms. Our philosophy of staff training includes making every effort to meet all of the social, emotional and health requirements of our residents.
Residents will benefit from the scheduled transportation services. Transportation will be available for scheduled doctors visits, shopping or planned social activities. Additionally, monthly wellness checks, a physician's exam room and Therapy room on-site are a significant component of or dedication to our residents' well being. Licensed medical professionals will be available 24 hours per day.
For those who need it, Grandview Palms will offer separate, exclusive VIP suites for those afflicted with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Under a preliminary agreement with a major local university, our residents will benefit from the most up-to-date research for the prevention and elimination of Alzheimer's disease.
